Privacy Policy


Sectegrity Corporation (“Sectegrity”) provides information security consulting services and secure critical messaging services ("URGIENT"). Our URGIENT service is used by our customers for urgent internal communications. Sectegrity performs the Sectegrity Services for the benefit of its customers as a third party service provider. This Privacy Notice does not describe the activities of our customers, their websites, web apps or web services.



Scope


Sectegrity has prepared this Privacy Policy to describe our practices regarding the information we collect from: (i) visitors to our websites located at www.sectegrity.com and www.URGIENT.com (the “Corporate Websites”); (ii) our customers and any individuals who may be subjects of the urgent communications, through the use of our URGIENT Service.

Sectegrity’s customers are solely responsible for establishing policies for and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as any and all privacy policies, agreements or other obligations, relating to the collection of personal information in connection with the use of the Platform Interface by their users, who are accessing and using the Platform Interface pursuant to our customers’ agreements with Sectegrity. With regard to such individuals, Sectegrity processes Personally Identifiable Information only pursuant to its customers’ directions in connection with the customers access to and use of the Platform Interface. Sectegrity does not have a direct relationship with those individuals who may be subjects of urgent messages. Any individual accessing and using the Platform Interface pursuant to a Sectegrity customer’s agreement with Sectegrity should contact that customer directly.

Corporate Websites


Information about visitors collected by the Corporate Websites is limited to the information that is automatically provided by the visitor’s computer browser (“Browser Information”), such as the computer operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address (from which we can infer a visitor’s location), time and day of access, browser type and language, and the website the consumer visited before visiting one of our Corporate Websites.

Our corporate website uses cookies for operational purposes only.

Users may provide additional personal identifying information via e-mail requests for more information. The amount of personal data contained in those e-mails is completely up to the discretion of the sender.



URGIENT Platform


The information that is automatically provided by the visitor’s computer browser (“Browser Information”), such as the computer operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address (from which we can infer a visitor’s location), time and day of access, browser type and language, and the website the consumer visited before visiting the Corporate Website; The username and password that is entered by an authorized individual user (“Sectegrity Services User”) to gain access to the Platform Interface; and The name, email address, and company affiliation (i.e., the Personally Identifiable Information) of each Sectegrity Services User logged into the Platform Interface.

Customers may choose to include as subjects/contents of their SecurePages, any type of identifiable information, including protected health information for their associates, customers, patients, or any other relationship entity. Sectegrity does not read these messages unless required for the operations of the site. Sectegrity will not release any such information unless required within the context of the customer agreement and or business associate agreement Sectegrity maintains with the customer. Sectegrity may update this Privacy Notice to reflect changes to our practices. If we decide to change our privacy statement, we will post those changes to this Privacy Notice. We will post any Privacy Notice changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice.



Marketing


We sell services, not data. Sectegrity Corporation is not in the Marketing business. We do not sell any client data, or infered data, to any party, period. We only engage in marketing activities to promote our own products and services.

Definitions
